Website Redesign

Website Redesign Services

A faster, clearer website that keeps the search traffic you already have

We redesign business websites that look dated, load slowly or don’t bring in enquiries. Before we change anything, we record your current pages, rankings and traffic, so the new site keeps the visibility you have earned. Most redesigns cost $1,400 to $4,500+, depending on size and features, and go live in 4 to 12 weeks.

What a Cliffex redesign includes

Every redesign starts with an audit of your current site and ends with a launch plan that protects your search traffic. The exact scope depends on how many pages you have and what the site needs to do.

  • Audit of current pages, speed and rankings

  • New design for desktop and mobile

  • Content restructure and copy edits

  • WordPress or Shopify build

  • 301 redirects for every changed URL

  • On-page SEO and schema markup

  • Google Analytics 4 and Search Console setup

  • 30 days of post-launch support

Redesign pricing and timeline

Informational websites start at $1,400. Larger sites, custom features and Shopify stores run to $4,500 and beyond, priced on the scope of work. Most projects go live in 4 to 12 weeks. After a short call about your pages, features and content, we send a written quote. See all pricing.

Signs it's time for a redesign

A property search and enquiry website for a Muskoka real estate agency

A WordPress website combining MLS property listings, viewing requests and enquiry forms, so buyers can explore homes and contact the agency in one place.

A clean, easy-to-navigate website for a New Jersey accounting firm

A responsive WordPress website for a CPA firm offering bookkeeping, payroll and tax services, with a built-in booking form so clients can schedule consultations themselves.

How a redesign project runs

We start with discovery: your current site, analytics and goals. Design follows, with revisions on the homepage and key page templates before we build. During development we move your content and set up redirects. Before launch we test forms, speed and mobile layouts, and for 30 days after go-live we watch rankings and traffic in Search Console and fix anything that needs it.

Got questions?
Well, we've got answers

How much does a website redesign cost?

Most Cliffex redesigns cost between $1,400 and $4,500+. A five to ten page informational site sits at the lower end. Sites with custom features, many page templates or a Shopify store sit at the higher end, and complex projects are priced on scope. You get a written quote before any work starts.

How long does a website redesign take?

Usually 4 to 12 weeks. A small informational site can launch in about four weeks. Larger sites, ecommerce stores and projects waiting on content take longer.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can if URLs change without redirects or if ranking content is removed. We map every existing URL, keep it or redirect it, carry over page titles and descriptions, and check Google Search Console after launch.

Do I need to provide the content?

Usually you provide the text and images, and we edit and arrange them in the new design. If you need new copy written, tell us when you ask for a quote and we will price it separately.

Which platforms do you build on?

Most of our redesigns are built on WordPress or Shopify. We recommend a platform after we understand how your team wants to update the site.

Does my current site stay live during the redesign?

Yes. We build the new site on a staging server and switch over after you approve it, so visitors never see a half-finished site.
