Business websites and Shopify stores, designed and built by one team
We design and build websites for small and growing businesses: company and service websites, landing pages and Shopify stores. Informational websites start at $1,400 and Shopify stores typically start at $4,500. Sites with custom features or large catalogs are priced on scope. Most sites go live in 4 to 12 weeks, include 30 days of post-launch support, and are set up so your team can update them without a developer. Your quote is your price unless the scope changes.
Already have a site that needs a refresh? See our website redesign service. Selling online? See Shopify development. All prices are on our pricing page.

WordPress or Shopify: which platform fits
Most business websites we build run on WordPress, which lets your team edit pages, publish posts and add landing pages without a developer. For brands selling physical products we usually recommend Shopify, which handles payments, shipping, tax and inventory.
If your site needs user logins, dashboards or business logic, it is a web application. See web application development.
Built to load fast and be found
Every site we build works on phones, tablets and desktops, and launches with the on-page SEO basics: page titles and descriptions, headings, schema markup, an XML sitemap, Google Analytics 4 and Search Console. When we replace an existing site, we redirect old URLs so you keep the search traffic you already have.
Included in every website project
- Design for desktop and mobile
- WordPress or Shopify build
- On-page SEO and analytics setup
- Training so your team can update the site
- 30 days of post-launch support
A property search and enquiry website for a Muskoka real estate agency
A WordPress website combining MLS property listings, viewing requests and enquiry forms, so buyers can explore homes and contact the agency in one place.
A Shopify store with build-your-own bundles for a New York snacks brand.
A fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand needed customers to build their own snack bundles at checkout. We built the store on Shopify and used Liquid development to add customizable bundles that the standard theme couldn’t handle.
A clean, easy-to-navigate website for a New Jersey accounting firm
A responsive WordPress website for a CPA firm offering bookkeeping, payroll and tax services, with a built-in booking form so clients can schedule consultations themselves.
How we work on every website:
The same practices we use on custom software apply to every website we build.
Design you approve before we build
We design the homepage and the key page templates first and revise them with you. Development starts after you approve the design, so there are no surprises at launch.
A written quote and a clear timeline
After a short call about your pages, features and content, we send a written quote with the price and timeline. Most sites go live in 4 to 12 weeks, and the biggest factor is usually how quickly the content is ready.
You own the site
The website and its code are yours. We recommend registering the domain, hosting and Shopify accounts in your name, and we hand over every login at launch.
How a website project runs
Discovery, design, build, testing and launch, with your feedback at each step.
Fast on phones
We compress images, keep plugins and apps to what the site needs, and test page speed on mobile before launch.
Support after launch
Every site includes 30 days of post-launch support for fixes. After that, changes and maintenance are billed hourly at $25 to $49 per hour: you tell us what you need, we send an estimate, and work starts after you approve it.

What you can expect from our team
Six things we do on every website, whatever its size.
01
Maintainable builds
We use the platform’s standard tools and document any custom code, so another developer can maintain the site later.
02
Proven platforms
WordPress and Shopify are widely supported, so you are never locked in to one agency.
03
Content you can edit
Page templates and reusable blocks let your team change text, images and pages without a developer.
04
Testing before launch
We test forms, links, page speed and layouts on phones, tablets and desktops before go-live.
05
Secure setup
HTTPS, backups and a short list of maintained plugins keep the site secure and easy to update.
06
Search-ready launch
Redirects, an XML sitemap, Google Analytics 4 and Search Console are set up on launch day.

Well, we've got answers
Informational business websites start at $1,400. Shopify stores typically start at $4,500. Sites with custom features, many page templates, integrations or large catalogs go beyond $4,500 and are priced on scope. Hosting, domains, premium plugins and Shopify plan fees are paid by you directly. See our pricing page.
Usually 4 to 12 weeks. A small informational site can launch in about four weeks. Larger sites, Shopify stores and projects waiting on content take longer.
If you sell physical products online, Shopify is usually the better fit, because it handles payments, shipping, tax and inventory. For company, service and lead-generation websites we usually recommend WordPress, which lets your team edit pages and publish posts without a developer.
Yes. We set up page templates so your team can change text, images and pages, and we walk you through it before launch.
Usually you provide the text and images, and we edit and arrange them in the design. If you need new copy written, tell us when you ask for a quote and we will price it separately.
