SeaMount document scan and upload app is used by the clients of SeaMount Tax & Accounting Services to provide scanned documents for processing.
Create a simple to use app that allows the clients of an accounting services business to provide scanned copies of their documents.
We built a document scanning and file upload app for iOS and Android. The app allowed for easy scanning and upload of documents. Uploaded documents are delivered to the accounting office for further processing via email.

App UI/UX - Simple, clean, easy to understand
Based on the target audience, and the experience shared by the client, we went for a very simple user interface that was easier to understand but provided the needed functionality.
We researched existing website of SeaMount Tax & Accounting Services and extracted key elements of its design. It helped us to come up with a modern yet consistent interface throughout their app and website. In the feedback of wireframes, client expressed the need to showcase assets from existing website into the app. We provisioned a menu that could be used to know more about SeaMount from the website.

We needed to build a high performing app with buttery smooth interface for iOS and Android. We chose to follow Flutter for this app development project. Node.js powered the backend of this app. We also used Google's firebase for authentication and cloud infrastructure. Flutter (being a Google backed project) provides good extensibility when used with Firebase.
Using Flutter allowed us to work on the same code base for both - iOS and Android. This gave us enough flexibility to build custom features and spend the time on building a quality app with lots of testing. We built our custom components and use native components where needed.
